We don’t think we’re alone in craving glimmers of hope right now, so for our first zine, we asked poets and flash fiction writers to send us short pieces of work that respond to Danusha Laméris’ ‘Small Kindnesses’.
 
The result is 16 illustrated pieces from 13 wonderful writers, all reflecting on the notion of ‘kindness’ and what it means to them. There are a unique mix of poems here: some are simple sparks of light, some explore how to be kind to the mind, and some tackle the ultimate kindness - caring for those who can’t care for themselves. As a publisher with an eye for surprises, there are also a couple of gems from non-human perspectives.
 
We hope they bring you peace amidst the chaos.
